Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking team members to support the store manager in achieving sales, merchandising, and operational goals. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, safe work standards, and caring for live animals and their habitats.

Ideal candidates will have retail or pet care experience, be at least 18, and be able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, while upholding company policies. Training and development for new team members are provided.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with execution of merchandising, sales, and operational objectives.
• Maintain attendance and manage shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Uphold a safe, productive work environment and enforce policies.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience and promote products or services.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic cash handling duties.
• Complete documentation for assigned duties and assist in training new Team Members.
