Destination Pet LLC in New Bern, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to warmly greet pet parents and guests, answer phones, and coordinate daily operations. You will tour the facility, promote services, and ensure vaccinations are on file for safety.

Expect duties that include check-ins, handling payments, and resolving issues with a calm, professional demeanor. Weekend/evening availability is required, and you’ll join a team focused on delivering a five-star, pet-friendly guest

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• You're a people-person and a pet-person.
• Solid communication chops across phone, in-person, and email.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their VIPs with warmth and efficiency.
• Answer phones and multi-task with a friendly, professional tone.
• Tour facility and promote services to new clients.
• Verify up-to-date vaccinations are on file for safety.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs with a personal touch.
• Handle cash and card transactions and balance the drawer.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pets to and from enclosures with care.
• Keep lobby clean and ready for happy reunions.
• Support teammates as needed and adapt to daily priorities.
