Destination Pet in Cary, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet pet parents and their furry VIPs, answer phones, and guide clients through our facility. You’ll help promote services, verify vaccination records, and balance daily cash while delivering a warm, professional experience.

The role requires multi-line phone handling, solid communication, and a passion for pets. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is part of the job in a busy, pet-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, in-person, and email.
• Ability to handle multi-tasking and maintain professionalism.
• Comfort with handling cash and balancing cash drawer.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their VIPs.
• Answer phones with a friendly, clear voice.
• Tour clients through the facility and promote services.
• Ensure up-to-date vaccinations on file.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs with care.
• Handle cash and end-of-day cash drawer.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to and from enclosures.
• Keep the lobby clean and welcoming.
• Support other team members as needed.
