Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet pet families and handle calls, tours, and sales in a fast-paced setting. You’ll balance check-ins, processing payments, and delivering a warm, professional experience for every visitor.

You’ll thrive with strong communication, a love for pets and people, and the ability to juggle tasks while keeping the lobby spotless. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to effectively juggle phones, clients, and tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (bags of food, pet crates, etc.).
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their furry VIPs, creating a warm, 5‑star guest experience.
• Answer phones with a smile and multi-task efficiently.
• Tour new clients through the facility and upsell services to keep tails wagging.
• Ensure up-to-date vaccinations are on file for safety.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs, balance cash, and maintain a tidy lobby.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to enclosures with care and supervise transitions.
• Support other team members as needed to keep operations smooth.
