Job summary

Destination Pet LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet pet parents and their pets, answer phones, and promote services. You will tour clients through the facility, manage check-ins/outs, and handle payments with accuracy.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their furry VIPs with a friendly, attentive demeanor.
• Answer phones and greet visitors, multi-tasking with professionalism.
• Guide new clients through the facility and explain services offered.
• Maintain safety by ensuring up-to-date vaccinations on file.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs with accuracy and a personal touch.
• Handle cash and card transactions and balance the cash drawer at end of day.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to and from enclosures with care and kindness.
• Keep the lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for first impressions.
• Support teammates as needed and be a team player.
