The role requires excellent customer service and clear communication in a collaborative veterinary setting. The pay range is $17.00–$26.00 per hour, starting point dependent on experience and competency leveling.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients at the hospital entry with warmth and professional acknowledgment.
• Maintain a friendly smile, eye contact, and approachable demeanor.
• Listen compassionately to clients and assess immediate needs.
• Speak clearly and calmly in person and on the phone.
• Assess whether arrivals are standard or emergency and respond accordingly.
• Direct non-patient calls to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm appointments and provide prep instructions to clients.
• Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
• Serve as liaison between clients and service agencies regarding pet remains.
