Heather Ridge Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Services Representative to join our compassionate team. You will warmly greet clients and their pets, manage check-in/out, and support scheduling to ensure a smooth hospital flow.

In this role you will educate clients on preventive care, assist with OTC product recommendations, and handle payments with clear explanations of charges. A positive, team‑oriented attitude is essential in our welcoming clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior client service experience is valued, but not required; experience in veterinary/medical setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and maintain detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, rooted in empathy and honesty.
• Basic computer skills including Office, email, and practice management software; AVImark is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and foster positive client and colleague relationships.

Responsibilities

• Client Greeting and Support: warmly welcome clients and pets, complete check-in/out, build honest relationships.
• Scheduling and Coordination: manage appointments to ensure timely care.
• Client Education: provide clear guidance on pet health, medications, and follow-up care.
• Product Sales and Knowledge: assist with OTC products and provide honest recommendations.
• Financial Transactions: accurately process payments and explain charges.
• Emergency Protocols: stay calm and guide clients during emergencies.
• Hospital Appearance and Cleanliness: maintain a welcoming reception area.
