Job summary

Mason Family Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative (Reception) to support our fast-paced veterinary practice. We welcome both full-time and part-time candidates, with a preference for full-time.

You will be the friendly first point of contact for clients, helping with check-in/check-out, scheduling, and product inquiries. The role includes greeting clients, assisting with appointments, reminders for health services, and basic medical knowledge to assist staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in client service in veterinary settings is a plus.
• Basic veterinary knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with practice management software.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage check-in and checkout processes.
• Schedule appointments and follow hospital policies for prompt treatment.
• Send reminders for annual health assessments and vaccines.
• Pull and update patient charts; create new charts when needed.
• Assist with dispensing and providing usage instructions for medications.
• Handle over-the-counter sales and product inquiries.
• Invoice clients, collect payments, and process charges.
