Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and deliver welcoming service. You will educate clients on preventive care and Pet Wellness Plans, assist with documentation, and help schedule follow-up visits.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and customer-focused service in a hospital setting. Weekend and evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route flow of clients and pets to ensure quality care and maximum productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times to encourage visits and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation, entering pet information and history in the computer.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
