Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure friendly, efficient service. You will educate clients on wellness plans and preventive care while handling client documentation and scheduling, aiming to deliver a superior client experience.

The role emphasizes multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced hospital environment. Weekend/evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service background.
• Medical background (veterinary or healthcare) with medical terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; welcome clients and pets and educate them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history, ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
