Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team’s productivity, and ensure friendly, informative service in a welcoming hospital environment.

The role includes educating clients on wellness plans, processing documentation, and facilitating appointments and invoices. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with weekend/evening hours possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray).
• One year of related experience preferred with customer service.
• Medical background or terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify Banfield's Five Principles within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and guiding flow of clients and pets.
• Maximize pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital operations.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history in the system.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
