Job summary

Ohana Pet Hospital in Ventura is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of the hospital. You will handle appointments, patient flow, and transactional processing while delivering compassionate, client-focused service for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals.

The role requires excellent communication, organization, and teamwork, with a 4 x 10 schedule and compensation of $20–$23 per hour. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and pet discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, reception, or client-facing role.
• Experience as veterinary receptionist or front-desk in healthcare preferred.
• Proficiency with a multi-line phone system and in-person client support.
• Experience with Cornerstone or similar practice management software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; compassionate and professional.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage arrivals with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow.
• Answer multi-line phone system and assist in-person clients.
• Process payments and maintain financial records accurately.
• Provide information about services for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other pets.
