Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group in Graham, Washington seeks a Customer Service Representative who will recruit new clients, promote hospital services, schedule visits, and support the veterinary team. The role may include duties as a Veterinary Assistant, hands-on with patients when needed.

You will welcome clients and pets, educate on preventive care, manage pet histories, and help ensure smooth clinic operations while providing compassionate service to families and their animals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a medical facility desired.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospital services and products to existing and prospective clients.
• Welcome clients and pets and educate on preventative care and pet health needs.
• Document and enter the pet’s history and requested services in the practice management software.
• Direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure quality client care and productivity.
• Answer basic questions from clients in person or by phone and triage service needs.
• Schedule client appointments and coordinate with veterinarians for optimal timing.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, information, and invoices.
• Dispense prescription items per veterinarian’s instructions and sell retail products.
• Handle cash transactions and daily cash drawer reconciliation.
