Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to actively recruit new clients and promote hospital services in Tacoma, WA. You will schedule visits, manage client flow, and ensure excellent communication with clients and their pets.

You will document pet histories in our practice management software, handle payments, and assist with invoices while promoting preventive care and products. A friendly, efficient, and professional service mindset is essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a medical facility desired.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain knowledge of hospital services to promote them to existing and prospective customers.
• Welcome clients and pets, educate on preventative care and pet health needs.
• Document and enter the pet history and requested services in the practice management software.
• Direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity.
• Answer questions from clients by phone and in person, triage to appropriate veterinary staff.
• Schedule client appointments and follow-up exams with Veterinarians and staff.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, information, and invoices.
• Dispense prescription items per veterinarian's instructions and sell retail products.
• Manage cash, accept payments, and reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Respond to complaints professionally and resolve issues satisfactorily.
• Support a collaborative environment for quality, compassionate veterinary care.
• Comply with practice policies and standards of care.
• Perform other duties as requested.
