Destination Pet in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a part-time, flexible schedule. You will be the welcoming face for pet parents and their furry VIPs, handling phones, tours, and service promotions with a customer-first mindset.

Role requires the ability to juggle tasks, lift 40 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Strong communication chops across phone, in-person, and email.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their VIPs with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Answer phones with a warm, clear voice and multi-task effectively.
• Tour new clients through the facility and promote services that keep tails wagging.
• Ensure up-to-date vaccinations are on file and safety is prioritized.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs with accuracy and care.
• Handle cash/card transactions and balance end-of-day cash drawer.
