Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is hiring a Customer Service Representative at Barkefellers- Westfield in Westfield, IN. You will greet pet owners and their pets, manage phones, tours, and service sales, and ensure safety with vaccinations while maintaining a tidy lobby and accurate cash handling.

Requires 1+ year in customer service, high school diploma, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected; compensation starts at $15–$16/hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Solid communication skills across phone, in-person, and email.
• Able to multitask with multi-line phones and computer systems.
• Capable of handling cash and card transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist pet parents and their VIPs.
• Answer phones with a friendly tone and assist guests.
• Show clients through the facility and promote services.
• Ensure up-to-date vaccinations are on file for safety.
• Take check-ins/check-outs with care and accuracy.
• Balance end-of-day cash drawer and process payments.
• Handle complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort guests to enclosures with care and kindness.
• Keep the lobby clean and welcoming for first impressions.
• Support teammates as needed; perform other duties.
