Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to greet clients and their pets with warmth, manage appointments, check patients in and out, and maintain complete medical records.

You will educate clients on preventive care and Optimum Wellness Plans, answer phones, handle payments, and support the veterinary team to ensure timely, high-quality care in a welcoming hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform administrative tasks throughout the workday.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Managing appointments, scheduling, and hospital flow to ensure an efficient client experience.
• Checking patients in and out accurately while maintaining complete medical records.
• Educating clients on preventative care, Optimum Wellness Plans (OWPs), and available hospital services.
• Answering phones, responding to client questions, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting the veterinary team to ensure pets receive timely, high-quality care.
• Assisting with administrative tasks and helping maintain an organized, welcoming hospital environment.
