Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage the flow of clients and pets through the hospital and to maximize the veterinary team's productivity. You will communicate with clients and associates, promote wellness plans, educate on pet health, and handle invoicing and scheduling to keep the hospital welcoming and efficient.

You will assist with documentation, ensure prompt service, and support a patient-focused experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify Mars Five Principles within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route flows to ensure superior client care.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital operation.
• Provide professional, efficient service; welcome clients and pets and educate them about their pet's health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information; ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, retail products and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
