Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to help manage the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, support the veterinary team, and promote a friendly, efficient, and educational experience for clients. You will work to maximize productivity and client satisfaction in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for radiography duties.
• One year of related customer-service experience.
• Medical background with terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live by the Five Principles and promote hospital services.
• Route client flow to maximize productivity and client care.
• Encourage wellness plan participation and educate clients on services.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet history, and invoices.
• Dispense items per veterinarian's instructions and schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate balances and complete opening/closing procedures.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
• Support the team to ensure a welcoming hospital environment.
