Job summary

VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center in West Los Angeles is seeking a part-time client service representative to support clients and patients. You will be the face of the hospital, greeting clients, handling calls, scheduling, and handling payments while maintaining medical records.

We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork as you help educate clients on medical vs non-medical pet care, and assist the team across busy shifts including Friday through Sunday coverage with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in client service.
• Previous experience in the medical field a plus.
• Compassion for pets and people; thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in person or by phone and coordinate appointments.
• Answer phones, texts, emails, and messages.
• Check in patients and manage scheduling and confirmations.
• Present and explain fees regarding treatment plans and invoicing.
• Maintain electronic medical records and payments.
