Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc. seeks an experienced Client Service Representative to be the friendly face of the practice, setting the tone for trusted care. You will handle greeting clients, scheduling visits, and guiding pets to exam rooms, while explaining fees and handling payments.

The role emphasizes patient communication, product recommendations, and supporting medical records with a proactive service mindset, in a full-time on-site capacity at our Texas location.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees and processing payments.
• Recommending products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal care (heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
