Job summary

Banfield in the United States is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure a welcoming, efficient front-desk experience. The role requires a positive attitude and adherence to Banfield’s Five Principles—Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom.

The CSC provides professional, efficient service, educates clients about wellness plans and hospital services, and handles client documentation, billing, and scheduling

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray) duties and exposure to radioactive substances
• One year related experience with customer service preferred

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, welcoming clients and pets and educating them about their pet's health
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and hospital services
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation and entering pet information into the system
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, and scheduling appointments
• Manage finances by maintaining balances and following opening/closing procedures
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
