Job summary
Relation Insurance Services in New York, NY is seeking a Personal Lines Service Leader to oversee the department and mentor team members. The role partners with the Personal Lines Leadership team to drive exceptional client service and outcomes.
You will train Team Leads, Account Managers and Client Service staff, manage escalated issues, conduct performance reviews, and participate in hiring while embracing innovative technology, including AI solutions, to deliver best-in-class service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines of coverage.
- P&C license required or preferred; designations welcome (CISR/CIC/CPCU).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Personal Lines department and mentor team members.
- Lead team meetings and 1:1s for development and goal alignment.
- Partner with Team Leaders to provide feedback and information.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and coaching.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
- Coordinate trainings with broking and risk control.
- Adopt AI and other innovations to improve service delivery.
