Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a branch-facing associate to provide trusted advice and build lasting customer relationships. You will help customers with financial solutions, including spending, saving, borrowing and investing, while promoting digital banking options.

Outbound calls and in-branch service are part of the role, with evenings/weekends possible. Starting salary is $25 per hour and up, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Develop strong customer relationships and offer trusted advice.
• Conduct outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options (app/ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for complex needs.
• Follow all financial policies and proper cash handling procedures.
