Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a branch-based associate who will build lasting customer relationships by offering trusted financial guidance. The role involves advising on spending, saving, borrowing and investing, and guiding clients to digital banking tools.

You’ll collaborate with specialists to address complex needs and make outbound calls to grow the customer base. Ideal candidates are personable, goal-oriented and comfortable with weekend/evening hours, adhering to all regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.
• 1 year cash handling experience

Responsibilities

• Provide sound financial advice and recommendations to customers.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce digital and mobile banking for transactions and self-service.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for more complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
