Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking an engaging branch associate who helps customers with financial decisions, answers questions, and builds lasting relationships. You’ll introduce digital banking options and collaborate with Wealth Mgmt and Mortgage teams to meet customers’ goals.

This role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including weekend/evening hours in some branches.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Get to know customers' personal financial goals and tailor solutions to help achieve them.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking via app or ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
