Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to lead the PPC and SEO department. You will own channel strategy, budget allocation, and client results while the specialists execute plans. This is a management seat, not an individual contributor role.

You will oversee quality standards, audits, and reporting, ensuring attribution and GA4 accuracy. Expect client-facing responsibilities and a clear hiring plan for your team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO. Owning one channel while beside the other does not count here.
• Depth in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads to tell good work from look-alike results.
• Able to talk through a turnaround case: metrics before/after and why the change worked.
• Agency experience handling many accounts simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Set quality standards, audits, reporting templates, and ensure accountability for the team.
• Lead client-facing calls when accounts underperform and drive remediation.
• Conduct first-round interviews for your team within a quarter.
• Collaborate with recruiters on hiring plan for the department.
