Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem on a decentralized clinical study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in-home imaging visits, with rates paid per visit.

Travel expenses such as mileage, airfare, and hotel accommodations are reimbursed per visit. Active cardiac and vascular imaging registrations are required, along with BLS, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently in non-traditional

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS + RVT/RVS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic field-based environments.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes for visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
