Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work as independent contractors on a per-visit basis. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, with travel expenses reimbursed.

Active cardiac and vascular imaging credentials plus BLS are required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS or equivalent)
• Active vascular imaging credential (RVT/RVS)
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Tech savvy and able to work remotely with digital tools
• Excellent bedside manner and patient communication
• Ability to travel regionally and work independently

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits
• Set up and operate portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor imaging guidelines and ensure proper labeling
• Prepare preliminary report with measurements and comments
• Maintain ASE standards in all imaging work
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
