Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, 1099 independent contractor role. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging, paid on a per-visit basis.

Travel expenses, including mileage, airfare, and hotel, are reimbursed per visit. Candidates must be registered in cardiac and vascular imaging, hold BLS, and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Label images correctly for cardiology review and report findings.
