Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem on a decentralized clinical study.

You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging using portable ultrasound, with reimbursements for mileage, airfare, and hotel per visit. Candidates must hold active RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS credentials, have BLS, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS)
• BLS certification or equivalent is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally/homeregion

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and comments
• Maintain high-quality standards per ASE guidelines
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
