Hawthorne Health, Inc. is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem on a decentralized clinical study.

You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, paid on a per-visit basis, with travel expenses reimbursed per visit. Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS or RCS plus RVT or RVS) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in field-based environments.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes locally or across state lines; visit volume varies by region.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards in line with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
