Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem as independent contractors. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging studies, with per-visit compensation and per-visit travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active dual registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS).
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel regionally to patient homes.
• Excellent patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes for in-home imaging visits.
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain consent.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol.
• Label images correctly for cardiology review.
• Document preliminary findings and comments.
• Maintain high-quality images per ASE standards.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
