Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled home health care under a licensed Physical Therapist. Join a team focused on mobility, independence, and safety for patients in their own homes.

You’ll document progress, participate in care planning, and collaborate with caregivers and the interdisciplinary team. Florida license and CPR are required; prior home health experience is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant educational program as set by CAPTE.
• Current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of related physical therapy experience for PTAs entering home health care.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring/residency may be required.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provides physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment.
• Provides resources for future needs and promotes wellness.
• Documents supervisory activities in the medical record.
