Alvarez & Marsal, a leading global professional services firm, seeks a Manager in Merger Integration & Carve-Outs within its PEPI practice in San Francisco. You will manage the full deal lifecycle from pre-deal assessments to Day 1 and post‑close integration, coordinating client teams to deliver results.

The role emphasizes hands-on due diligence, integration planning, and execution with a focus on synergies, TSA, blueprinting, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience leading one or more workstreams in transformation programs.
• Flexible to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams or focus areas within the Integration Management Office (IMO) based on deal size (e.g., Synergies, TSAs, Day 1 readiness).
• Deliver large, complex engagements and implement creative business/tech solutions for PE clients and their portfolio companies.
• Plan, execute, and drive Day 1 and Day 100 objectives including operational optimization and IT/Reporting integration.
• Track progress against Day 1/Day 100 objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Provide client service excellence and assess key business issues to deliver recommendations.
