Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for Merger Integration & Carve-Outs within the PEPI MI&C practice in the United States. The role covers pre-deal operational reviews through Day 1/Day 100 execution, including integration planning, TSA, and post-close actions for portfolio companies.

You will lead or contribute to workstreams across synergies, governance, and organizational design, with a strong emphasis on delivery excellence and client impact.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration and business transformation.

• Experience leading one or more workstreams in business transformation.
• MBA preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify client issues, determine needs, and deliver recommendations.
• Lead workstreams within Integration Management Office (IMO) as needed.
• Deliver large, complex engagements for PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Plan and drive Day 1 and Day 100 objectives across functions.
• Oversee performance improvement assessments and implement recommendations.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies or staffing as required.
