Job summary

Carter’s in Memphis is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers, showcase our baby essentials, and help prepare families for school days, while modeling inclusive leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to support a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
Coach others to meet service standards and KPIs.
Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, training and development.
Plan, track, and report tasks and financial results using company tools.
Plan merchandising standards, promotions and product placement.
Maintain loss prevention through service and operational controls.
