Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will lead with a welcoming, inclusive environment, coach others on service standards, and drive KPIs with the team.

You will support recruiting, training, and development of the store team, while ensuring merchandising standards and loss prevention controls are in place. A strong background in retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and customer engagement skills.
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles and benefits.
Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team through recruiting, hiring, training, and development.
Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
Partner with Store Manager to plan merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
