Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead our store team and deliver exceptional service for growing families. You will support the Store Manager, coach associates, manage schedules, and ensure operational excellence on the sales floor.

You'll engage customers with warmth, promote our baby essentials, and foster an inclusive environment while driving KPIs and sales goals. This is a development-driven role at Carter's with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and uphold service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team; communicate actions to improve results.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan and execute merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls.
