Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will greet customers, showcase our baby essentials, and coach the team to deliver exceptional service in a welcoming environment.

The role focuses on leadership, training, and driving results across sales and operations. You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and retain a strong team, while maintaining merchandising standards and program execution.

Qualifications

• Positive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 year retail or related management experience minimum.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to keep a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and help them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to meet service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team through clear communication.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and development of the store team.
