Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Virginia is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide HR generalist support for hourly staff and leaders, driving talent, engagement, and operational excellence.

You will partner with leaders to implement talent initiatives, improve employee experience, and manage complex employee relations while leveraging data-driven insights. The role requires onsite work with significant travel to support multiple VA sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• 2+ years of human resources experience or equivalent experiences (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and ensuring fair policy application.
• Use data analytics to identify trends, predict future challenges, and drive improvements in employee experience and business performance.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs.
• Coach business leaders on effective people management practices and complex employee relations matters.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools while delivering high-touch service in critical moments.
