Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE is seeking an HR Life Cycle Coordinator to provide administrative support across onboarding, orientation, engagement, benefits, and file maintenance. The role requires handling confidential information with discretion and supporting HR with payroll initiatives and compliance across IL, GA, and CO.

The position offers a full-time schedule with potential remote work after training, and opportunities to work across multiple IL centers with flexible home base based on geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 12 months experience in a HR coordinator or specialist role.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, EEO and ADA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule onboarding docs and remote orientation with i9 verifications and compliance testing every other week.
• Support background screens and onboarding compliance.
• Process status changes in required systems and communicate with department heads.
• Maintain online training HIPAA and related policies in designated platform.
• Educate new hires on HR policies and procedures.
• Oversee input of new hires in HRIS and peripheral software.
• Maintain/audit personnel digital files and upload documents.
• Follow up with engagement plans and stay interviews.
• Prepare anniversary certificates and gifts; distribute updates.
• Perform general admin functions for HR; assist with payroll initiatives.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
