Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE is seeking an HR Life Cycle Coordinator to provide administrative support to HR services across multiple centers in IL. This role handles onboarding, orientation, engagement, benefits, and personnel file maintenance, with ultimate responsibility to ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance and data integrity.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 12 months of HR experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 12 months experience in an HR coordinator or HR specialist role.
• Experience with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding strongly preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a compliant manner.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, EEO, ADA, and related HR regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and remote and in-person onboarding documents.
• Support background checks and onboarding compliance testing.
• Maintain HRIS records, process status changes, and communicate with department heads.
• Support ongoing training, HIPAA, mandated reporter training, and policy compliance.
• Educate new hires on HR policies and internal procedures.
• Input new hires into HRIS and other software, manage integrations.
• Maintain and audit personnel digital files and documents.
• Support employee engagement, anniversaries, and distribution of updates.
• Assist payroll initiatives and other HR duties as needed.
