Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE is seeking an Life Cycle Coordinator to provide administrative HR support across onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and benefits administration. You will maintain personnel files, process status changes, and assist with payroll initiatives while ensuring HIPAA and confidentiality requirements are met.

Based in IL with flexibility to work remotely after training, the role supports multiple centers and states, requiring strong communication, organization, and project management to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12 months experience in a human resource coordinator or specialist role required.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding strongly preferred.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong understanding of state and federal policies (HIPAA, EEO, ADA).
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding documents and conduct remote orientation including i9 verifications and compliance testing.
• Support background checks and onboarding compliance processes.
• Process status changes in required systems and communicate with department heads.
• Maintain and audit employee training and mandated policies in designated platforms.
• Educate new hires on HR policies and internal procedures.
• Oversee and input new hires into the HRIS and related software changes.
• Maintain personnel digital files and upload documents to files.
• Coordinate engagement activities such as meet-and-greets and stay interviews.
• Prepare anniversary certificates and distribute gifts and updates.
• Perform payroll-related support and other HR duties as assigned.
