Job summary

SpartanNash, Harrison, MI, is seeking an Associate Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time) to drive the employment life cycle for the store. You will manage recruiting in Workday and lead onboarding, orientation, and engagement initiatives.

Partner with the local HR business partner, oversee first 90 days, and run store recognition programs while ensuring compliance and effective communication. This role requires a HS diploma and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College coursework in business administration, HR or related area preferred.
• One year HR administrative support experience or coursework required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting in Workday.
• Post jobs, conduct interviews, and coordinate final interviews with store leadership.
• Complete job offers and onboarding processing through Workday.
• Set up and conduct store orientation as needed.
• Coordinate with local HRBP on hiring events and resources.
• Manage first 90 days of employment to validate training and drive retention.
• Own store engagement programs including daily/weekly recognition.
• Ensure compliance and accurate HR reporting at store level.
