Job summary

SpartanNash in Grandville, MI seeks an Associate Engagement Coordinator to drive the employment life cycle for the store assigned. You will support hiring, orientation, training, safety, and store communications while partnering with local HR to staff events and resources.

You will manage the full-cycle recruiting in Workday, conduct interviews, process offers, onboard new hires, and oversee first 90 days to drive retention. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college coursework in business or HR preferred.
• 1 year HR administrative support experience or HR coursework.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting in Workday: post jobs, interview, coordinate with store leadership.
• Handle offers and onboarding processing in Workday; conduct orientation as needed.
• Partner with local HR to staff events/resources and monitor first 90 days.
• Own store engagement programs and ensure compliance and timely terminations.
