Job summary

SpartanNash, Fargo, ND, seeks an Associate Engagement Coordinator dedicated to driving the employment life cycle. You will manage recruiting in Workday, coordinate interviews with store leadership, and handle onboarding and orientation for new hires.

You will own store engagement programs, partner with HR, and ensure compliance while maintaining strong communication with associates across levels in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• College coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources or related area preferred.
• One-year HR administrative support experience or related coursework required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle recruiting process in Workday; post jobs, conduct interviews, coordinate final interviews with store leadership, and complete offers and onboarding in Workday.
• Set up and conduct orientation for store employees as needed.
• Partner with local HR Business Partner to post or add hiring events or resources as needed.
• Manage first 90 days of employment for new hires to validate training and drive engagement; measured by retention.
• Own store engagement programs including daily/weekly/periodic recognition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ensure compliance at store/location level including I-9 processing and work permits.
