Job summary

SpartanNash in Omaha, NE is seeking an Associate Engagement Coordinator to drive the employment life cycle for the store assigned. You will support hiring, orientation, training, safety, compliance, and store communications.

Responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruiting in Workday, coordinating interviews, onboarding, orientation, and partnering with the local HR Business Partner to staff events. This role focuses on engagement programs and timely HR processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required).
• College degree or college coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources or related area preferred.
• One-year HR administrative support experience or HR coursework required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer service oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; HRIS/HRMS experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle recruiting process in Workday and coordinate interviews with store leadership.
• Coordinate job offers and onboarding processing through Workday.
• Set up and conduct store orientation as needed.
• Partner with local HR Business Partner to staff events and resources.
• Manage first 90 days of new hires to drive engagement and retention.
• Lead store engagement programs and daily/weekly recognition initiatives.
• Ensure compliance tasks such as I-9 processing and terminations are handled timely.
