Job summary

SpartanNash in Dickinson, ND is seeking an Associate Engagement Coordinator to drive the employment life cycle for the store, focusing on internal engagement, hiring support, orientation, training and store communications.

You will manage full cycle recruiting in Workday, conduct orientations, partner with local HR, oversee 90‑day onboarding, and own store engagement programs plus compliance and reporting. The role requires a HS diploma, HR coursework or experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• College degree or HR/business coursework preferred.
• One year of HR admin support experience or coursework is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting in Workday, post jobs, interview and coordinate final interviews.
• Lead orientation for store staff and support onboarding processing.
• Partner with local HR business partner to staff events and resources.
• Oversee first 90 days of employment to validate training and retention.
• Own store engagement programs including recognition activities and communications.
• Ensure compliance and timely administrative tasks such as terminations and reporting.
• Maintain associate areas and training spaces, and support scheduling.
• Serve as backup for weekly scheduling based on volume needs.
