Meridian Health Services is seeking a dedicated Support Staff Technician for our pediatric office. This front-desk role supports daily operations, assists patients, and helps keep the clinic running smoothly.

You will interact with patients and staff, manage appointments, handle payments, and maintain records in NextGen. The position requires a high school diploma and strong communication, organization, and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience (medical setting preferred).
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a patient-centered mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional communication with patients, staff, and the public.
• Answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and route messages.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Manage medical records, releases of information, and new patient charts.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
• Check in patients in NextGen.
• (Main Office only) Answer executive phone as needed.
